Felt Project

Hi there,

While I was surfing on the etsy website, I found a lovely felt pincushion with full of arts sense. Since that day...I cultivate in my heart that one day I'll doing it for my own.

So, last week when I was teaching my kids, I took my blue box which contains of 10 pieces of felt fabrics in various colors, and I started to draw a simple flower shape. I used sharp scissors to prevent the felt fabric became hairy..(don't know the right word.

I use 'Buku Sulaman Riben' (Ribbon Embroidery Book)which i got for my 30 year old birthday present. The book was very user friendly for a beginner like me...I can easily understand the instructions, how to fold the ribbon or thread.

For this felt craft project, I was using three basic stitches, namely french knots, stem stitch and chain stitch. My first trial on making felt craft project was not so bad. I 'm satisfied with my job...

Pijama

As promised, these 2 pajamas have been succesfully completed (except the button part). I was using bernina 82e for the button holes and Janome 300e for the embroidery. My sincere apology this delay. My bernina 82e was having his first technical problems and has been send to bernina service center.

After used it for 2 weeks, i found that bernina was very stable and useful. Worth to buy....and for those who is still looking for sewing machine....I personally and truly recommended this model (for basic).

Below are the pictures of 2 pajamas. One blue and another one is red. I'm using cotton fabric with square pattern. Apparently, cotton fabrics is the most appropriate fabric with the current situation in Malaysia.

Hi,

It's june now....time for me to think about eidulfitr....even though it is in september, but due to bustle of work i need to prepare early. Perhaps it could be more easier for me to manage my timing...(working mother)....Below are few projects i need to finish of before august (just my target, heheheh...)

1. 4 pairs of my 'baju kurung'
Status - In progress

2. 2-3 pairs of my mother's 'baju kurung'
Status - buying the materials this weekend

3. My kids 'baju kurung'
Status - buying the materials this weekend

4. My Daughter's blouse..etc
Status - In progress

Instead of the above projects, i have few orders from my colleague. They requested me to sew 'baju kurung' also for eidulfitr. They overly want my creative touch....I would try my best to achieve their satisfaction.
